The Burren Connect Project
The project is working on environmental protection and sustainable visitor management in the Burren region of County Clare.
We work with local stakeholders and community groups, particularly those interested in the sustainable development of tourism.
We are supported by Clare County Council, Shannon Development, Geological Survey of Ireland, National Parks and Wildlife Services, National Monuments Services, Failte Ireland, BurrenBeo Trust and the Burren Connect Advisory Committee.
We invite discussion about our Project through public meetings and this website.
We provide information about Burren related issues on our website and in the local media.
