Information Points: Nine Information Point sites were chosen on the basis of set criteria such as availability of broadband, access, facilities and availability of staff to manage each location.
The nine sites are:

• Carron (Michael Cusack Centre)
• Caherconnell (Stone Fort Visitor Centre)
• Corrofin (Clare Heritage Centre)
• Kilfenora (Burren Centre)
• Lisdoonvarna (Burren Smokehouse)
• Doolin (Doolin Cave Centre)
• Turlough/Bell Harbour (Burren Outdoor Education Centre)

These hubs offer access to over 70 websites, the host site is the our Burrenconnect site www.burrenconnect.ie , which provides comprehensive information on the Burren events, information on accommodation, eating out and specific attractions and services as well as many other Buren related sites including the BurrenBeo website www.burrenbeo.com . The hubs carry information on visitor centres, community events and activities, arts and crafts and accommodation, plus an extensive range of publications, CD’s, maps, and free Burrenbeo fact sheets, Enfo fact sheets, the Burren Code and leaflets advertising various attractions and events.
The Burren Connect Project will track website hits at each location, conduct information sessions with staff at each location, follow up on stocks, and carry out random monitoring to ensure standards are met, new staff are trained and feedback is collated.
